There is something so beautiful about a long flat shoreline, where waves exhaust themselves before hitting the sand. Soft breezes, warm sun and the sound of the offshore waves making their last push towards land. This is where I walk for miles, just where water meets shore, letting the ocean ebb and flow across my feet and my toes sink into the sand. It has always been that way and always will be. The photo source for Soft Shores was taken during an after lunch amble on the beach at Coolum, in the Sunshine Coast. A beautiful lazy day. I love how this piece turned out—the coastal colour palette makes it so calming.
